£35.79

Carlos l Solera Gran Reserva Brandy de Jerez is a Spanish brandy made from the grapes of the Jerez region. Maturation in ex-Sherry casks creates a deep, amber colour, with gold accents, it is intensely aromatic with notes of vanilla and cocoa, with great balance, complexity, and length on the palate.

The brandy has an average age of 12 years, from a solera started over a century ago.

Tasting Notes: Tea colour with golden edges. Scents of roasted almonds and butterscotch. Vanilla and nutmeg on the palate. Assertive, rich aftertaste.

The House of Pedro Domecq was founded in 1730, when an enterprising French aristocrat came to the fertile Jerez region. Descendants of the Domecq family are still running the company today. It began producing and exporting its products in commercial quantities around 1874, and today has holdings all over the world. Carlos I Solera Gran Reserva is the crowning achievement of Domecq. Its sleek, modern bottle bears an elegant gold label.
