Don Q Gran Anejo Rum 70cl

The Gran Añejo is built from a careful-selected group of rums from the Don Q range, produced at Destileria Serrallés in the town of Ponce in southern Puerto Rico.  All of the rums are distilled five times, and spend twelve months in American Oak. The Gran Anejo is a step above its stablemates: slightly peppery to begin with, with aged oak and creamy vanilla prominent in the palate.

Super premium rum first aged in American white oak barrels, and then carefully aged in Spanish sherry casks using the Solera Aging System.

In the subtle aroma you can identify hints of vanilla and dark caramel, originating from the prolonged contact of the rum with the barrel. A masterful blend of rums aged from 6 to 12 years in American white oak barrels and Solera aged rums aged up to 50 years old.
